Planted on the deep gravelly soils that give the appellation its name, Magneau’s Graves blanc – crafted from 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 45% Semillon and 10% Muscadelle – bursts out of the glass with a lovely pale lemon-gold color and classic Graves blanc aromas of beeswax, basil and quinine. Crisp and super refreshing on the palate, the Magneau blanc conveys a kernel of energetic lime and grapefruit accented by notes of muskmelon, gravelly soil, ginger and freshly cut grass. The Magneau finishes clean and citric with further notes of white grapefruit, key lime, lemon, chervil, basil and freshly grated ginger.
