2015 Chateau Vieux Manoir Bordeaux (regularly $12.99, sale $9.99)-

When I drink red in the summer I like drinking Bordeaux, because while being full flavored, it's never heavy. I especially like drinking it when it only costs 10 bucks. Even at its regular price of $12.99 it's a good deal. At $10- steal!

Grape varieties : 60 % Merlot / 35 % Cabernet Sauvignon / 5 % Cabernet Franc

Gorgeous deep crimson color. The nose revealsaromas of cherry and blackcurrant. In the mouth you get red fruits with a hint of that tobacco/cedar character that I love in Bordeaux. Medium-bodied and well-balanced, this wine has a nice creamy, cocoa-tinged finish. I also highly recommend putting a light chill on this wine. Maybe 30 minutes in the fridge should do the trick (I bury it in the icemaker for 15 minutes). This ramps up the refreshment factor of this wine considerably, and creates the perfect summer red.
